PROGRAM PURPOSE
Brazil’s economic growth in recent years has drawn the attention of both leading international businesses and students interested in better understanding the most important country in South America.
In order for students to learn more about who is guiding Brazil on the path to success, what the country’s strategies are and how they are being put into practice, this field trip program will provide Johnson student an overview at leading businesses, people and organizations in Brazil.
RIO DE JANEIRO
Maria Alexandre holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro and a PhD. from the University of Illinois. She has taught at the College of Business at the University of Illinois, Case Western Reserve University, and Michigan State University and has been published in the Journal of Strategy and Management, the European Journal of Innovation Management and the Journal of Organizational Science.
