The Portuguese-speaking world – or Lusofonia – spans the world from the largest and most powerful economy in Latin America (Brazil) to the first new sovereign state of the 21st century (Timor- Leste; borders Indonesia).

THE CITY
Considered the most important financial center in Latin America, São Paulo is the largest city in South America and one of the largest in the world. But the City is home to more than just 30% of Brazil's annual GDP and the headquarters to many Brazilian and multinational corporations.
It is also home to one of largest populations of Japanese decedents outside of Tokyo, a huge Lebanese population and home to more Italian descendants than any other city (a larger population than the city of Rome!) – a reason there are over six thousand pizzerias in the city. It´s no wonder São Paulo is considered the most multicultural city in Brazil.

Aimed at learners who are beginners or elementary in Portuguese and wanting to practice the language in everyday situations. 4 classes a day, 50 minutes each, (Monday to Friday); plus daily immersion activities outside the classroom
Intimate Group Instruction

A maximum of 6 students per class – learners will have full language immersion with an experienced Brazilian instructor
Beginner (A), Pre-Intermediate (B1), Intermediate (B2) and Advanced (C)

SALVADOR
THE CITY
Home to the largest carnival celebration in the World, Salvador is often referred to as the capital of happiness. The first capital of Brazil, the City was founded in 1549 and contains some of the most intact colonial cultural landmarks in the country including the Pelourinho – the site of Michael Jackson´s famous music video “They Don´t Care About Us” and an UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The City is overflowing with culture particularly Afro Brazilian culture, as the birthplace of capoeira, the Candomblé religion and Afro Brazilian cuisine – arguably the best food in all of Brazil!

THE CITY
Florianópolis is a beautiful city located on a 54km-long island. Famous for its high standard of living, safety, great infrastructure and beautiful beaches and nature; the City is an ideal location. The capital of southern Brazil’s Santa Catarina state, the City is a very popular vacation destination for Brazilians with its 42 beaches, saltwater lagoons, waterfalls and rainforest.

30 hours, 3 hours a day (Monday to Friday) for 2 weeks; plus the option of immersion activities including practicing a sport or activity of your preference, i.e. surfing, hiking, sand boarding, windsurfing, or capoeira

There are between 2 and 6 students in a class, 3 on average.
