9-Day Sample Program in Lima and Cuzco

Peru is an extremely diverse country, with 11 ecological regions and 84 of the world’s 117 different types of “life zone”. It has a huge variety of sceneries thanks to its geography, which also provides it with a wide range of natural resources. A trip to Peru takes you back in time and allows you to rediscover the exciting life of the Incas, a culture that has fascinated the world with their artwork, architecture and social contribution to humanity.

Peru is currently facing a social transformation in which social innovation and entrepreneurship is also booming, in this way we would like you to experience this movement and know more how social businesses, services and products are changing the local landscape.

Sample Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival in Lima

Campus Peru representative will be at the airport to meet your group and take you to the Hotel in Lima. After check in hotel, there will be a group Orientation Session about the program and Safety & Culture in Peru. In the nigh, the group will have a dinner and cultural show in a typical Peru restaurant in order to start the program!

Day 2 -

- Whole day lectures in the most prestigious Peruvian universities in Lima and interaction with local Peruvian university students and entrepreneurs : Each lecture and session will be focus on showing the social challenges that Peru is facing nowadays and it will include a “Social Innovation Challenge Session” in which students from both countries will come up with solutions in order to solve the problems that different social enterprises are facing in their daily operations in Peru.

Day 3 -

In the morning, Visit to Ministry of Production in order to know more about Peru´s strategy to promote social innovation and entrepreneurship from the Government level. In the afternoon, visit to Aprenda, one of the main companies that focus on microfinance and advisory for Peruvian SMEs.
